Peace House Community is so excited to partner with Our Lady of Grace to care for our community members. As a community center serving homeless and low income adults in south Minneapolis, PHC sees a wide variety of need each day. But as the temperatures plunge, our community members’ needs focus more and more on simply surviving. Each Christmas, we distribute 250 gift bags containing hats, gloves, thermal socks, hand warmers, emergency blankets, cough drops, candy, lip balm, bus passes, and $10 Aldi gift cards. Our community members are so happy to receive supplies that can be the difference between a healthy body and one that has suffered from frostbite and hypothermia, or worse.
