Visiting Peace House Community & Our Daily Schedule

Visitors are warmly welcomed at Peace House Community. Please review the Peace House Community Visitor Guidelines (linked at right) before you visit. If a student group is visiting, anyone under 18 must have written consent from a parent or guardian. Visitors should also review the Code of Conduct that all community members, volunteers and visitors must honor, respect and abide by (linked at right.) We do appreciate you calling in advance to let us know of your upcoming visit.

Meditation allows members to experience personal empowerment and personal and collective responsibility. To be truly heard and responded to by a small community, to feel safe enough to allow one's self to be vulnerable, cared for and eventually empowered to listen to and empower others is the goal for each community member. Peace House Community does not work for but with the poor and marginalized through mutuality of service.

  • Serve light breakfast from 10:30 AM - 11:00 AM
  • Meditation from 11:30 AM - 12:15 PM
  • Serve a home-cooked lunch at 12:15 - 1:00 PM
